Ebay won't accept my bank account is a current account

For years Ebay accepted my savings account but under new stupid rules want a current account to pay me. I have tried many times to link a current account even sending a screenshot of a statement with my name address account number etc. It is still refusing to accept it. I can't use our other current account as that is linked to my husbands ebay. I have tried talking to them but it seems I'm going round in circles. Any ideas what I can do please? I have money waiting to be withdrawn when I can finally get it.

It has to be a high street bank (although not many branches left). I.E. Lloyds, HSBC, etc.

Ebay do not accept app only banks.

It is only only within the last two years that a Bank Account has become needed, before that payments went through Paypal  and ebay never had any bank details.

The Bank Account now needed has to be a Current Account, Savings Accounts have never been used. Ebay needs not only to send money to bank, but if needed to debit the bank account with fees or refunds if necessary. This cannot be done with a Savings Account.

Quite often, when Ebay won't accept a bank account, there is a discrepancy between the name on the bank account and the name you used when you opened your Ebay account.  Do the details match exactly, including any middle name or initial?

If not, you may have to change your name on Ebay to your full, legal name as shown on your bank account.

It's  Virgin money who took over Yorkshire bank.  We do have a physical branch in our town.

It's a current account I'm trying to use. It's got my name on it the same as my ebay account. We've had the current account for many years and no problem except with ebay

Everything matches. I just don't understand why this is the only company with a problem with my account.

Yes it is a joint account BUT  the current account my husband uses on eBay is also a joint account.  Trouble is we can't both use the same account on eBay to receive funds.
