Ebay support is terrible

As of recently i thought i would like an electric scooter, but as i have bought it the buyer gave me the tracking number but nothing else, and it didnt even work on yodles website (yes it was yodel delivery) and i was texting the seller why it was not working etc until he said he was on a buiessness trip and had to give me a refund so i request a refund etc, and he proceeds to respond with the "wel will give you 70 quid and you can keep what ever it is" but he hasnt even sent it, so i get someone inloved to fix this problem and there asking me to return it. I DONT EVEN HAVE THE BLOODY THING, so its currently asking me to return it even though i dont have it, i will not be using ebay to buy anything again, and will be leaving a bad review and will be calling up spport later to fix this.

if you have not received the item why has a return case been opened instead of a not received case?

Who did you get involved to fix the problem? If they asked you to return it I presume you used eBay's money back guarantee? 

 

It sounds as though you may have accidentally opened a "not as described" claim instead of an "item not received" one. It's difficult to suggest what to do about this without knowing exactly what you did?

 

How did you pay for it? Your payment provider may be able to help if you opened the wrong sort of case, as eBay probably won't let you change it.
