Ebay selling fees when item has to be relisted due to fraudulant offer/bids

I listed a car for sale inviting offers. An offer was made and I accepted it but the seller has not responded and it appears that they never intended to buy the car.

I raised an issue with ebay but nothing has come of it.

I relisted the car and an offer was made and it was automatically accepted as it was at the asking price. The buyer then wanted the offer cancelled. I did not want to waste any more time as they did not want to buy the car  and cancelled the offer.

Ebay have charged me two sets of listing fees of  £14.99 when on both occasions I had not sold the car due to actions by other members. I have now removed my car from Ebay and will never sell here again as there is no customer service to speak of and the whole website is a nightmare to navigate.

Listing fees are never refunded, even if buyers don't pay.

Make sure you cancel as unpaid.

Better to list as classified ad, 1 Listing fee, no final fee.

You only remove Listing after you have been paid.

Listing fees are not refundable for Vehicles, sold or unsold but you can recover FVFs by opening an Unpaid case/s for non payment after 4 days and give those timewasters a well deserved  account defect/strike.
