Hope someone can help or let me know if they have had the same experience. 10 years ago I moved from Australia to the UK and got eBay (when they still contacted you in person) to convert my existing Australian account to a UK one. For 10 years I’ve had no issues buying and selling on eBay but recently when I try to list something it won’t accept that I have a UK postcode and insists I enter a numeric postcode in Australian format. It won’t let me list unless I do this, and doing so then shows my listing as coming from Australia. Coincidentally eBay have recently changed their delivery functionality. This is obviously a big turn off for anyone in the UK looking to buy from me. I don’t want to start a new account and lose 18 years of 5 star ratings. Is there a real person I can contact at eBay to resolve this?

Have you tried clearing your cookies and cache and making sure your device is upto date.

Thanks v.much for the Customer Service contact. They were very helpful and are treating it as a technical issue and are investigating. (Everything works fine when selling through browser/ eBay UK website, but both android and ios apps are giving me the wrong country issue)

There have been and still are issues with android devices not being able to take the latest updates, and its affecting the ebay app,so thanks for getting back with the update,and yes use a browser for now 😉
