EBay’s authentication process is passing good counterfeits

I am writing to express my frustration with eBay's ongoing issues regarding item listings being removed under claims of counterfeiting. It is particularly concerning that these items were purchased from eBay itself and have supposedly passed their authentication process. It seems that the system in place is failing to recognize the eBay authentication tags present on these items.

As a result of this experience, I am reconsidering my future purchases from eBay. I hope to find alternative platforms to sell the items I have previously acquired. Just recently, I had to return a pair of Jordan 1 VAA sneakers which, despite passing eBay's authentication, were unfortunately counterfeit. Fortunately, I had a retail pair in a different size for comparison.

Given these ongoing issues, I find it difficult to regard eBay as a viable marketplace anymore.

We see many posts about issues with authentication for the items currently covered.  Goodness knows what will happen with trading cards!

The whole process seems to be shrouded in mystery, with no information about the qualifications of the authentication teams.

From your experiences it also seems to be pretty random!
