EBay paid refund

Hi, one of my sold items now says that EBay partially refunded the buyer. Any idea why this might have been please? The feedback I received from the buyer was that the item was as described, well packaged and good value for money, so I don’t know why a refund would be given?

More information would help, how much was refunded?

Was it by any chance something to do with buyer paying for simple postage which may have been cancelled in which case buyer gets refund.

Possibly, now you’ve mentioned postage, I’ve just calculated that the refund equates to the combined postage and VAT costs, but still unclear why these would be refunded.
