EBay is becoming a protection racket that takes peoples money hostage, refuses to give it back and takes a fee for the process, while gaslighting you, telling you your item isn’t delivered despite adding tracking, being successfully delivered and with positive feedback to boot, but no, according to “their system” no tracking has been added or delivery taken place. It’s actually embarrassing at this point. I had to physically point this out and told the operative to maybe read my listing and check, and then check the carrier website. A part of me thinks they’re purposely being abstruse, knowing their system currently is *bleep* box but trolling us of the sake of it.
Ive spoken to operatives the past few days more than I have my own wife. Thats only because she’s mad at me for something I’m currently unaware of. But anyway…
Imagine how much they’ve incurred in interest these past weeks while holding everyone’s money.
I spoke to a lovely chap on Saturday who manually released my funds, he also tried to release another but for some reason the system told him that he isn’t allowed for reasons he’s unaware of. Despite having done everything I’m asked to do, sending special delivery at a ridiculously high price, just so it speeds up the process. But no, i gotta wait 10 days for a perfectly smooth transaction. It’s a joke. I re tried again today for them to tell me the same thing. “Released on the 26th”.
I also sent an item that has had attempted delivery almost everyday until it just stayed in the ether of Royal Mail depots until someone decides otherwise. Meanwhile, 10 days have passed and no money for an item yet. It’s literally ridiculous. Where do I stand with this? Do I have to wait now till Royal Mail get fed up and just send it back? Or for it to go awol, which has happened before. Why doesn’t eBay compensate me for this by actually paying me what I’m owed?
I’m just so fed up with this company right now.
