EBay balance

I have just sold my first item on eBay and I’m confused by the earnings. On the payment breakdown it states my total earnings from the item after the postage and promotion fee, then when the funds hit my eBay balance it was £12 less than was stated as my order earnings. Does anyone know why this is please?

It's hard for us to answer correctly as we have no access to your account,  but this will show you a breakdown of your transactions,  fees paid , postage, promotion - ad fees.

If this still doesn't add up for you,  then contact eBay Customer Services as they do have that access and can explain any fee for you.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
