EBay Money Back Guarantee

I purchased a pair of brand new jeans. They are clearly faulty - about 3-4 sizes smaller than they claim to be.  The seller will

not accept a refund - does anyone know if  there is any other recourse here for example the eBay money back guarantee?

The picture below shows the jeans in black next to another brand new pair that are the same size!

Did you start a return using the reason 'wrong size/doesn't fit'?

That is classed as a change of mind return and a private seller can refuse to accept the return.

If that is what happened, you can contact Ebay Customer Services and ask them if you can start a return using the 'not as described' reason.

They certainly look a different size, are they both the same Brand,  too?  Different Brands of the same size can be totally different in actual sizes.

What does the size say on the jeans?  Does it match the size stated on the listing?  If it does, then you can only return the item for a refund for the reason Does Not Fit,  if the seller has  a Returns Accepted policy on their listing, you will need to pay for the fully tracked return postage.

If the jeans are labelled a different size to that on the listing,  then open a case for item not as described...Item Does Not Match Description,  and escalate after 3 days if not refunded beforehand .  Seller here pays for the return postage if they want their item back first.
