It happens couple days ago when I open the Ebay app on my cellphone, my user name became to random letters and when I click it, it says this user was not found, it's fine on PC, also I can not access personal information on cellphone.
You are in the USA and this is the UK site --- accidently opened another account ? --- Reported to happen when using Phones /Apps to Login using Apple/Google/Facebook links resulting in opening a 'cloned' account with lost history/missing/corrupted details.
Using a PC/Laptop, log out and try to recover your Original account/history with a fresh Homepage login at > www.ebay,com < and the previous/usual email/Username/s/Password/s etc. --- any new account can then remain unused or closed.> https://community.ebay.com
