Hi, I bought a padlock in May of this year and it has now stopped working correctly. I contacted the seller, but they have said as it’s been over 90 days now, it’s not their responsibility. Does anyone know if this is correct please? It didn’t cost the earth, but surely it should last longer than 5 months.
TIA

With eBay its actually only 30 days, under their money back gaurantee.
Has the padlock been subject to wet weather if outside, or what is the problem, sometimes a little WD 40 or fairy liquid helps loosen them up if they are seizing.

You cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt.
If they are not, a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG, Money Back Guarantee policy, to return the item for a full refund.
You are too late to claim any refund from eBay or the seller.

Through ebay you can only get a refund up to 30 days!
If seller was a business seller, then you could ask Citizens Advice but if low cost probably too much aggravation. If a private seller nothing can be done.
