Dropped off sales.

I can say with complete certainty, that my sales have dropped off since the Buyer Protection charges.

Seems to me that ebay is again loosing sellers, because this Buyers Charge is putting up the price of goods that I sell.

I sell mostly whats left of my CORGI Lorries/Trucks, given that the price for these items is importantly low, selling is now  very difficult.

Sending often tracked, and somtimes with guarantee postage, so what risk does ebay face from buyer claimants.

I make sure that my descriptions are very truthful and accurate, so there should be no claims there.

If this charge continues I will be forced to sell elswhere, since other platforms do not make these charges.

There is no doubt that fairly low priced collectables have been badly hit by the BPF, which is disproportionally high for items in that price range. With collectables you can't even just sell them in batches of larger numbers.

In fairness, you should now also be able to reduce your prices since the removal of private seller fees. But from reactions to the BPF I think buyers in this price range just feel resentful of paying this extra  charge to "protect" sales of such a small purchase price. (By the way, have you noticed that the link in every listing to eBay's money back guarantee still tells buyers that there's no extra fee for this protection? (Where do they get their staff??)T

The one thing that eBay's recent changes have definitely achieved is to motivate both buyers and private sellers to look for other platforms on which to trade.
