Didnt get my money back

Hello its my first time buying something from ebay .....the part wasnt the right one so the seller refunded the item but i havent got my money back and its been 24 hours

Refunds can take a while.   Up to 7 days if you used your debit card and money returns to your bank account.   If you used your credit card up to 30 days to return to card.

Will they go automatically in my bank account or do i have to do something

If you paid with your debit card the refund will automatically go back to your bank account.   You don't have to do anything.

Okay and a last question ....do i get all my money back or part of them

You should get all your money back.   If you had to return it and the mistake was the seller's they should have paid for the return postage upfront.

Buyers can't cancel items on eBay. You can only ask the seller to cancel.

If the seller agreed to cancel and refund you, did they do this correctly, through eBay? You have to remember that you didn't pay the seller - you paid eBay. So you always need to follow eBay's procedures as it will be eBay and not the seller who issues your refund.

If eBay did so, they will have notified you of this. The payment may take anything from a few days to around a month to reach your account (credit card refunds are the slowest). The payment will be returned to your source of funding - usually a bank or credit/debit card account.

eBay would not be involved if the seller promised to refund you themselves privately.

When i go to purchases it says refunded but  the problem is i don't have my money ....a guy told me it can take 7 days

Once eBay notify you the refund is made,  being processed,  then it's not instantly returned to you,  and does go back to original payment source.

If you paid with PayPal it goes back to your PayPal account fairly swiftly.

Paying with a debit / bank card?  Can take up to 12 days to appear back in your bank account.

Credit card payment?  This takes the longest,  up to 30 days to appear back in the card account used.

If it says refunded on ebay then you're fine.    The money is on its way back.    🙂
