Didn't notice delivery was to a former address

I noticed too late that the item was to be delivered to a former address of mine. 

I contacted the seller and got this response:  This seller is using the Simple Delivery programme to post this item. For postage related questions including lost or damaged in transit, please contact eBay’s Customer Service or file a claim by clicking on the purchase history section from My eBay menu.

I can't seem to get customer services help for this situation so I've sent a cancellation notice to the seller but no response now.  Any ideas what else I can do, please?

Do you know if the item has been posted?

If it has, it is too late for the seller to cancel.

In this situation, there is not really anything Customer Services can do?

Make sure you have changed your address on Ebay - there are 5 different sections where you need to change it.
