Hi, I have just sold an item on eBay and it has been delivered, however the delivery method I paid for through eBay didn't work, Royal Mail couldn't scan the QR Code so I paid for next day delivery out of my own pocket, the item has been delivered however it only shows dispatched on eBay, the buyer has notified eBay that he has the item and is happy with it. Will this affect my payment for the item?

A a new seller your payout may be placed on a hold up to 21 days until tracking shows delivery.

As your tracking now is different you do need to alter it.  Go to where you marked the item as dispatched and if you cannot change the tracking manually to the one now used,  you'll need to contact eBay Customer Service and they can do this for you.

Their lines open in a few minutes at 9 a.m. contact them then,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Tracking showing delivery can release your payout sooner.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

As said,  I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
