Your seller may not agree, as this could lead them to receive a damaging late delivery mark.
Best way forward, would be for the seller to cancel the item stating ' Buyer Requests to Cancel', this fully refunds you and leads to no defects on their account.
They can then relist the item when you are home, for you to buy it again.
Never best to buy items when you are not home to receive them, it can damage sellers accounts, posting outside their dispatch timeframe.
