Defective product

I just received a message from eBay informing me that Item details: 375565763516 - 5/7L Electric Dough Mixer Home Auto Kneading Dough Maker with Ferment Function has been reported by UK Trading Standards for not being compliant with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 .

I tried to contact the seller as advised which averred futile since the statute of limitations had passed. Attempting to contact eBay wasn't very successful either and I suppose I am £68 out of pocket...

eBay will only refund you if your last estimated date for delivery for this item has not passed the 30 day timeline.

Has it?  If not,  come back here we'll explain how to open a case.

Otherwise,  you can try your payment provider for help with a refund if you are within 120 days of purchase.
