DPD parcel delivered with photo proof, buyer claim is not, seller lost

I sold Camera lens for £570 buy and print label from Ebay, send by DPD , DPD confirmed with photo at open door that parcel has been delivered and Collected by buyer with a name.

Buyer claim he not recived item, saying in this house is few ppl with his surname "Li" Chinese. and that was not him!

I lost that case! I cannot even make appellation.

now eBay send ing me bill to pay back all money.

Did you use a signed for service?

Ebay only give you seller protection for items over £450 if you used a signed for service where the courier gets a signature on delivery.

Getting the name of the person they hand the parcel to is not enough to protect you.
