Customer Support, not contactable. Terms and Conditions are stupid

Why is eBay uncontactable? What happened to Customer Support?

The T's and C's are unreasonably long, pages of rubbish. Ebay employs lazy buggers who just add on more and more silly T's & C's and don't remove the older outdated ones. This explains why they have too much time on their hands, not doing the job correctly, Lazy Sods.

Their terms and conditions are confusing, NOBODY HAS THE TIME TO READ SUCH GARBAGE.

If you would like to discuss those T & C's with eBay Customer Services , this is how to contact them.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I do recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open, as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Did you have a question, which is what this board is for?

As far as eBay's t&c are concerned, whether you've read them on not you have accepted them in full.

I doubt whether any of us have ever read the t&c when buying from large, reputable sellers like Marks and Spencers' t&c, or Sainsburys'.

But trading with unknown sellers or buyers on eBay is something else. Buying and selling on eBay can be risky at the best of times - making yourself even more vulnerable by dismissing eBay's terms and conditions unread as "garbage" isn't a great choice.

I would guess that at least half the questions asked here are from users who have little idea of what they accepted in the user agreement. Often all we can do is to point out eBay's rules and time limits, and explain out that by not following them they have already thrown away their rights.
