As far as eBay's t&c are concerned, whether you've read them on not you have accepted them in full.
I doubt whether any of us have ever read the t&c when buying from large, reputable sellers like Marks and Spencers' t&c, or Sainsburys'.
But trading with unknown sellers or buyers on eBay is something else. Buying and selling on eBay can be risky at the best of times - making yourself even more vulnerable by dismissing eBay's terms and conditions unread as "garbage" isn't a great choice.
I would guess that at least half the questions asked here are from users who have little idea of what they accepted in the user agreement. Often all we can do is to point out eBay's rules and time limits, and explain out that by not following them they have already thrown away their rights.
