How do you pay custom charges for a package from France to uk via colissimo?

No idea who collisimo are.

UK carrier will invoice you before they deliver.

If bought through GSP, you will have paid at checkout.

How much is item worth and are you buying through ebay.

If buying through ebay and value under £135 then ebay collects the VAT when you pay, if over £135 then delivery courier/Royal Mail should collect before delivery.

If bought through Global Shipping then everything is paid at the time of paying.
