Good morning,

I do hope that someone can assist me.

I have returned to Ebay as a seller after a gap of some years with a new account (the old one appears to have been deleted) and I am struggling with the current features on Ebay.

I live in Jersey, therefore, part of the UK and obviously I sell in sterling and advertise in sterling and wish to be paid in sterling. Although I have managed to list items in sterling ( and Ebay overriding my postage costs by increasing them - postage costs in Jersey being cheaper than UK) whenever I receive notifications from Ebay about similar items for sale etc. these are always listed in Dollars. Indeed, all my first listing of sale items were listed in dollars which I eventually managed to correct. I am concerned that anyone outside the UK seeking to purchase from me may think that I accept payment in dollars which of course I don't.

I don't recall this problem when I was previously a member and the current rules do appear to be more complicated.

I would welcome any thoughts and guidance on the matter and to hear from anyone who might have had a similar experience and how they resolved it.

Best wishes,

David.

Someone else reported this a few days ago,  but I don't think any one had an answer , unfortunately no resolution to the issue.

I think it's best to contact eBay Customer Services as they have access to accounts, and  know / should know,  of any current site issues.  I strongly recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning when the lines first open at 8 a.m. on weekdays,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

If you do receive an answer please come back and tell us as it may help us to help others facing the same issue, thank you.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
