Counterfeit Item - purchased over a year ago

Hey,

Hope you can help, the ebay chat bot thing is useless.

I bought a watch over a year ago from a seller who primarily deals in watches. It had stopped working recently so I sent it to the manufacturer for service. They have informed me that it is counterfeit and have sent me an official letter confirming this.

Because the purchase was over 90 days ago, eBay don't seem to have a function to help.

I have contacted the seller and its early days, but should that not go well I need to know how to get eBay's help, but it seems impossible to speak to someone.

Any help or advice?

There is no point speaking to Ebay.

They cover items for 30 days only and state somewhere (I paraphrase) that they don't guarantee the authenticity of any item sold on the site.

Just out of interest, did the watch pass authentication or was it not sent to the authenticator?

Didn't even know there was an authenticator.
