Continued problems setting International Shipping Rates

Generally I use the ' sell similar ' tab from one of my existing active or sold listings when setting up a new listing for a different item. Often it might be a book or programme from the same original source or relating to the same event so although I need to change some of the description other parts of it can be used etc and obviously I can change the starting price and scheduled start time etc.

Items weight different amounts so I change the postage costs for the 3 different regions I use for shipping but now if I do this I'm getting an ebay message saying ' changing this will affect all 127 listings using this policy '.

It's ridiculous because obviously a heavy book requires a different shipping rate to say a postcard but it looks as though my ebay listings are going to all use whichever is the latest shipping rates I enter for a new listing.

Any help is appreciated please

I expect this is something to do with Business Policies, surely this allows a choice of methods and costs. Perhaps you should opt out.

Re: Continued problems setting International Shipping Rates

Many thanks for the response, I checked into this but that does not seem to
be it.
I'm starting to think it is just another glitch in the system, ebay seem to
make it harder and harder to sell to overseas buyers, you'd think it was in
their interest to make as many sales as possible but seemingly it is not !
