Contacting customer services by email or phone. Nightmare dealing with Ebay

Does anyone have an email address or phone number for Ebay?

I received a package 3 days late for a next day delivery - despite paying an extra £11 for next day delivery. Can't find an email address to write to, can't find a phone number to call. The chat is a BOT and is totally useless. I eventually got a call back from somebody supposedly in Customer services who could not give me either an email address or a phone number to call. So even the people working for Ebay can't help you. Their only advice was to start a claim through the website, but every time I do this it does not recognise my password - despite this being correct and then the site switches to Spanish. So I am stuck with a parcel I do not want, a payment I want refunded and absolutely nobody within Ebay who can help.  I will be waiting to get a refund off my credit card and will never use Ebay again.  You can learn a lot about a company when something doesn't go to plan in terms of how quickly they rectify it.

This experience tells you everything you need to know about Ebay - avoid at all costs!

CS  cannot give you an email or phone number for eBay because there isn't one,  contact with CS is only through a Call Back option.

If you received items later than those dates they were supposed to arrive by,  you do not need CS just to understand eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy.  Here,  if you do not receive your item on time you can receive a full refund by opening a claim for item not as described... citing Item Does Not Match Description or Photos.

If still in time for a refund,  proceed this way:

If you are still within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery you are guaranteed a full refund,  under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy.

Just proceed this way:

You have received an item not as described,  go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select... Return this item selecting the reason Item Does Not Match Description or Photos.

The seller needs to accept this case within 3 days and refund,  if they want their item back first , they need to pay for that fully tracked return postage, then on receipt of their item they have 48 hours to refund you.  If they don't ,  need to escalate the case,  ask eBay to step in, and they'll force the refund.

Never listen to any excuse or promise from the seller to close the case early,  and do not forget to escalate.
