Confirming a collection

I have an order paid for and collected but neither I nor  the buyer have a collection code to scan so it is still showing as outstanding. How can I sort this?

The buyer should have received the code from ebay when they paid.   They could try contacting ebay about it.   If no luck the payment will be held for 14 days and then released to you.

Thanks. The buyer says he hasn't got anything and isn't being cooperative re following it up. Will it stop showing as outstanding at some point?

Items should never be released to buyer without the collection code.

Without the code you have no proof of delivery and a dishonest buyer could open a not received case to get a full refund.

You'll just have to igore the reminder from ebay.    I'm not sure if it goes away but it must do eventually.    Although you have no proof of collection it's unlikely the buyer would take advantage of that.
