Cherished number plate

Hi everyone, I need some advise please. I have a cherished number plate that has been valued at between £950 and £1500 by seven different specialists. I have listed it with these sellers with no luck. I thought if I reduced the price to £649 and listed it on eBay it would be a bargain but it has now been listed many times without one viewing. I've even promoted the listing without any joy. I've tried it at  £599 but still no good, any ideas please. The plate is R6 RLR, thanks Dave

The difficulty perhaps is that it is only vaguely of interest to somebody with £500 odd to spare driving an R6 or with initials RLR.  The potential market may - as you have found - be limited. 

The "value" implied by dealers may be totally false
