Change of personal details

I have changed my name following marriage. I have changed this in my account but when Ebay produces invoice to send to a buyer, it still says my old name. I can't find out how to contact someone to ask about this. The automatic chatbot doesn't understand what I'm saying and just tells me how to change my details.

I presume that you did click to confirm the change 

1. Depending on what you’re updating, you’ll be prompted to Save, Submit, or Confirm.

If you go into your account now does it show new name, if not for some reason your editing has been rejected, so try again.

Have you also edited your bank account? If not as that must be in the same name as your ebay registered name, this would no doubt cause a problem.

I had successfully changed my name, necessary following marriage. That
change showed in my personal details.



The name on my bank account was the same as my married name. However, I also
had my Paypal on there. I have two accounts and on checking I see one has my
married name and the other, which was linked with Ebay, had my maiden name.
I've now changed that on my Paypal account but it still hasn't made any
difference so I've deleted the Paypal link and I'll see if it makes any
difference.



If not, I may be back for advice!
