Car up for Sale - Spares and Repairs

I recently placed an item for sale.

Someone agreed to purchase but then did not pay.

The car was removed from sale and I was unable to relist it fo Four days.

No sale was made as the buyer was a known Scammer.

i have had to scrap the car as the garage wanrted it moved.

Now EBay collections are chasing for fees.

Is This right?

Yes. After 4 days of non payment, you would have had the option to cancel sale using reason “buyer did not pay” then you would not be expected to pay a selling fee.

Listing fees are payable as soon as listed and are not refundable.

As the vehicle sold on 7th Nov you are still in time to cancel as advised with - buyer did not pay.

Re: Car up for Sale - Spares and Repairs

So you should not be liable for any final value fees but will still have to pay any listing fees plus any reserves or upgrades that you used.
