Cant open request for items that havent arrived

Bought 2 items from seller on 4th March. They were due to arrive 7th March. Contacted seller 3 times, no reply.

Tried to open ebay request but there's a blue banner at top of page saying seller has high number of sales and there is a backlog. I can't open a request

What do I do now?

Grateful for any advice

You will just have to wait.

Check the email you received when you paid to see the range of estimated delivery dates.

You should be able to open a case one day after the latest estimated delivery date.

What are the estimated delivery dates in the email you got from Ebay when you paid?

You learn something new every day here!

 

You have a banner to say your seller has a backlog of item not received cases and you cannot open one for yourself, and soon if you're not careful  may be timed out to do so, unbelievable.

 

Asking our Community managers here if this is something new and how to overcome this,  to open a case for a very late arrival of an item !

I would say contact Customer Services for help with opening this case, but they seem to be unreachable at the present time with ' Contact Us' greyed out.

Thank you for reaching out.

 

These blue banners can appear in situations for sellers who are experiencing high volume and as a result there may be a longer time for delivery. However it should not prevent you from opening a case.

If you scroll down past the blue banner, there should still be the option to request either the item or a refund. Input some details in the message box and click on send request.

I did all that and I was not allowed to open a case. I've been in a situation where I've had to open a case and know what to do.

This does seem strange it will not allow you to open the case. Can you contact customer support through here and have them review your account and help with getting the case opened.
