Cannot start a returns process

Hello,

i started a return as item had been falsely advertised, unfortunately i selected "did not fit" which prompted me to pay the return shipping which is wrong.

There is no way to edit a Return once started so i cancelled it, however i am no longer able to start a new return.

What should i do?

The only thing you can do is contact Ebay Customer Services and explain you made an error when you chose the reason for the return.

There is no guarantee that they will do anything but they may, possibly, close the case and allow you to open another one.

Generally though, you only get one chance at opening a case.

If they say 'no', then you will have to pay the return post or just keep or sell the item.

Nothing you can do as once a return is closed it can't be reopened on ebay.

If the item was of significant value look at contacting your payment provider for help

Cannot start a returns process

Thank you, as you said... no way to do this... i spoke to eBay and they pretty much said "Computer said no"

they have a legal requirement for sorting this out as they have facilitated the sale of a item that falls under false advertising so i will keep on at eBay to sort this out
