Can’t get paid

Hi,

I recently sold an item on eBay, and foolishly selected evri as the courier (when I created the listing, several weeks ago).

the item sold, and I sent it via Royal Mail (as I always do).

The buyer can’t mark the item as received, as I sent it via the wrong courier, and now I can’t get paid.

anyone got any ideas what I can do?

When you buy your own label you have to generate the original prepaid Simple Delivery label to be able to change the tracking number and mark as dispatched.

So generate the label then go to View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow and change the tracking.   That has to be done on a desktop browser.

Afterwards if you paid for the original label you can cancel it here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller
Or if the buyer paid for it it will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.

If you can't do manage to do the above you will still get paid but the money will be held for 14 days.
