eBay don't get involved with warranty scenarios, this would be between you and your seller.
Any warranty is only going to be as good as your ability to enforce it. If your seller is a UK business seller you could run this by Citizens Advice and see if they can suggest a legal route.

Sorry but there's nothing you can do about it on ebay. ebay only allow 30 days for claims and don't get involved with warranties. Try contacting your payment provider and see if they can help with a refund. Or, if the value makes it worthwhile try money claim online:

In that case do run it by Citizens Advice if the product you've bought is under warranty (offered by that seller).
