Can I increase the postage charge?I'm sending a chainsaw

I sold a chainsaw, but the postage cost is higher than a normal postage for being a power tool. How can I ask for it to the buyer?

 You put the postage on the item and should always check prices before listing.

They only need pay what is on the listing.

If you ask them they do not have to pay and then you either cancel the sale or send at the postage on the listing.

Either way you risk bad feedback.

You're supposed to send at the cost of postage on the listing, paying any extra yourself.   But no one can force you to proceed.   If it means losing quite a lot of money you might decide to cancel the transaction.
