Item was purchased in early 2022 . It was a Hoover Washing machine installed in my first floor flat flat . The waste water tube was spilt and leaking water into ceiling cavity in flat below from early 2022 to April 2025 when split plastic pipe was noticed .
As you can imagine serious water damage to the ceiling and walls . I noticed wet immediately after installation but thought it was roof and gutter issues which I promptly resolved . Wet ceiling and walls continued and luckily the tenants were away for long periods and were not washing daily or weekly . I live in the ground flat .
called Currys they have given me a total run around . 2- 3 calls each one waiting 20 -25 minutes and no one can provide email or connect number to CURRYS EBAY . Think their call centre is centre is in India or Philippines .
Any one have any ideas on how to help ? I do not want them to get away with it . I think their items sold on ebay must be factory seconds which are not disclosed when advertised as ' new '
Item was purchased on a Natwest Mastercard .
