I clicked buy it now and went through PayPal then confirm and purchase. Clicked button but no confirmation email ?

Check if its on your purchase history page.

If it’s not on your purchase history. Would you say it’s probably not gone through or missed it.

Its not gone through on ebay but also check the status in your Paypal account.  If its gone through on Paypal its possible the seller has been suspended by ebay.  That could be temporary but you can get your money back via Paypal, if necessary.
