Buying a sharp object.

I want to buy scissors and tweezers. They are in my basket. I cannot complete the purchase until I have proved my age (69!!) I am being asked to provide credit card details, but I don't have a credit card. There are no options for other forms of identification. What now?

That bis the only form of identification eBay accept if you wish to buy any form of bladed item.  It is the proof required that your are 18 years or older.

With no c. card you will have to remove the items from your basket,  and if you still wish to buy the from eBay ask a friend or family member to buy them who do have a credit card on their eBay account.
