Hi,
I bought a pair of sandals via eBay on the 28th Aug 2025. The back strap snapped (& they became useless) on the 14th Nov... 😞 - LESS THAN 3 MONTHS!!... 😞
- Ebay themselves Wont £ REFUND me (NOT THAT I EXPECTED THEM TO). - But I thought that EVERYTHING sold in the uk HAD TO BE SOLD WITH A MINIMUM OF 12 MONTHS GUARANTEE on it!!??
- Does Anyone actually/legally Know??.... 🙂
*That shud include my sandals,Surely??
I ALWAYS FIND it VERY DIFFICULT TO TALK TO A HUMAN BEING EMPLOYED BY EBAY ON THE WEBSITE/PHONE,TOOO!!.... 😞
Thanks,
Dementia Chris

Ebay MBG is only for 30 days.
If you bought from UK business seller, you have consumer rights, but ebay won't help with them.
Your payment provider may help.

There is no 12 month guarantee, and if any seller is offering one it's only going to be as good as your ability to enforce it.
You could contact your card provider (if you paid with a debit or credit card), though they may not make a refund if you've had the sandals since April and they broke, they could say that you did it.
