I recently sold a LEGO minifigure that stated in the description it does not come with the original cape, it was stated clearly and shown in the pictures. This person is now asking for a refund and for him to return the item to me after having it for almost 3 weeks. What can I do about this? I will not accept a return because this buyer was illiterate and I expect eBay will side with me considering I have stated it doesn’t come with the original cape despite him saying it’s faulty because it didn’t come with something I never included in the listing. He also has a few negative feedbacks on his account whereas mine is clean.

Was it the cape shown in the picture or a different one?
Your listing was a bit vague about the cape 'Comes with a different (but better) cape' was stated at the end of the description.
If the buyer has opened a case/started a return, your options are to refund, accept the return and provide a label or to contact the buyer.
You do have the option of asking Ebay to step in through the case. Generally, I would advise against that. It is certainly not certain that Ebay will side with you.
My advice would be to accept the return, provide a label and refund on return of the item. You can then relist it but be very clear about the cape. If buyers are paying over £60 for a minifig, they would expect it to be complete and original.

I'd accept the return, I do feel that your listing is a bit misleading.
Your photo should be of the actual item that you're selling, you can't add 'Comes with a different (but better) cape' to your description. You'd have been better off changing the cape to the one that you're sending for the photo.
