Hello everyone,
I recently sold an item that was delivered to the correct address. The item was dropped next to the buyer's door by Yodel, and there is photographic evidence to confirm this. The buyer acknowledges the picture as showing their house. However, they claim the item was not there and are requesting a refund. I suggested that they contact Yodel as per their policy, but the buyer has not done so and is only demanding a refund.
I believe I have fulfilled my duties as a seller and have tried to assist to the best of my abilities. What should I do? I don't think I should be refunding something that was delivered.
Kind regards

The buyer won't win a "not received" case with ebay if the tracking shows delivered. Tell them to ask around their neighbours in case someone took it in.

Thank you for the reassurance. Yeah, buyer is giving zero engagement. Basically wants me to sort things out. I will try to involve ebay to settle this then. Cheers

Do not get eBay involved, meaning do not contact them, as they could very well close the case in the buyer's favour, it does happen.
If the buyer has opened a case, just enter the tracking number into the case details, and if it shows delivery, it will close the case in your favour, no need to refund.

As tressygirl says NEVER get ebay involved, as they are just as likely to refund, at your expense, leaving you with no hope of claiming off Yodel.
Help for sellers does not exist, proof of delivery is your only protection.
