Seller says he won’t deliver eBay refuses to refund. What should I do?

I bought a computer item on EBay, it had a buy now button. I paid for it and after 5 days of no tracking info, I contacted the buyer. He made it clear he won’t deliver because he won’t pay £25. 00, I paid £167.00. EBay response is for me to wait for the item the return it. What should I do?

One day after the item's last estimated date for delivery if the item is still not with you,  open a case for item not received.

Escalate on day 4, ask eBay to step in, if not refunded beforehand, and they'll force the refund.

Rubbish advice from ebay, you cannot return something you are not going to receive.

Just claim for not received to get a FULL refund, and then leave seller NEGATIVE feedback, just say “SELLER WOULD NOT HONOUR THE SALE”, then no grounds for having feedback removed.
