Buyer protection tax *bleep*

So this hidden buyer protection that has been applied to all my listings has pretty much made my items look to expensive, like *bleep* do eBay not want sellers to sell?

Why can't their greed tax be added as a separate cost that eBay enforce, and not make it look like I have hiked up all my prices.

I guess we are all in the same boat, and buyers will eventually see that everyone's prices have suddenly increased.

Already notices a drop in sales in last 12 hours, i guess i had a good run.all things come to an end.

You are a business seller, so buyer premium does not apply to you.

It's only for private sellers.

I have just this moment switched to Business, hoping my items would go back to normal, but they remain the same.

Will the buyer's protection tax get removed, then do you know?

I think you will have to ask ebay.  I hope they would reset your prices automatically but who knows!

Worst case scenario is cancel and relist.

Does it not apply to business sellers too ?   I looked at the biggest seller on eBay,  M Magpie and all their prices are ending in odd pence ?

Not according to the published policy.  Perhaps MM have another reason for odd prices?
