Buyer paying postage twice

My buyer had to buy the postage label (as normal) which I then used this money to purchase the QR code to ship the item. For my buyer to collect the item, royal mail made the buyer purchase another label. How can I get ebay to refund the buyer for this second postage?

Buyer does not buy postage, they pay you for item and postage you listed.

You use this money to buy postage. 

If it was the book you recently sold, looks like you sent as large letter.

Either you bought wrong weight label or it should have gone as parcel, so RM charged an excess fee to buyer.

You need to refund buyer the extra fee.
