Buyer paid by PayPal but my payment is on hold

I just sold an item and agreed to meet the buyer rather than send via DPD which he initially selected as the delivery option. The buyer has the item now, but eBay says the payment is on hold awaiting confirmation of delivery. How do I change the status to delivered and thereby receive the payment?

You need to finalise the transaction this way,  this only  can be done on the Seller Hub here:

Go to Orders >> Awaiting Postage, click on the item then top left on View Order Details.

Far right from More Action drop down menu click on ' Mark as Dispatched' .  Dispatched is eBay's wording for a collected item.

As there is no tracking to show delivery and no collection code, send your buyer a message if they would kindly send you some feedback this shows delivery,  and it should release your payout sooner.
