Buyer opened a not delivered case after collection

Hi,

I recently sold an e bike on eBay, the buyer came, tried it out on a test ride and collected the item after I scanned the collection code. He then opened a not delivered case requesting a key for the battery. (Which wasn't in the description and isn't needed for it but I had) I posted it to him first class. He now won't respond or close the case. What do I do?

Hopefully he'll rceiv e the key and is happy and will not escalate the case.  He may not be logged in to his account or can not see your messages.

If he leaves the case alone it will just time out and close in 30 days.

Your collection code is supposed to protect you from an item not received case.  What did eBay say when you pointed that out?  Or haven't you done that?
