Buyer not collected item. what happens to my goods now in a post office Ervi delivered

So if the buyer refuses to engage with me (10 messages) and does not collect, what happens to by supposedly E-Bay backed refund for item sent. The items are expensive, and now stuck in a Post Office?

If buyer does not collect item should eventually be returned to you.

Does that mean the buyer will not get a refund, until I get the items back, please? Thanks for the help.
