Buyer false claims

The buyer opened a return saying the packaging was damaged, but I clearly described that in the listing. Now they’re falsely claiming the Dyson hairdryer is fake. It’s  authentic, and . I’d like eBay to review this before any refund is processed.” Also I would like to receive my money as I am being falsely accused by the buyer of damaging the box

I am afraid what you would like isn't going to happen.

You really have no  choice other than to accept the return and issue a returns label.  No one at ebay looks at return case unless there is an appeal, which is a stage you are not at yet.

Ebay is 99% on the side of buyers in these situations.

Re: Buyer false claims

eBay do not see the item,  so that is not how it works I'm afraid.

If the buyer opens a case for item not as described,  then it's all automatic and no human contact.  You will need to accept the case and refund within 3 days,  if you want your item back first you pay for that tracked return postage,  and only refund when the item is back with you.  You'll have 48 hours to do so.

Stick within those timelines and your seller performance is not affected.

If either you or the buyer ask eBay to step in,  if the case is escalated for the refund you can then appeal that decision.  The link below explains how.  I won't admit it's easy, as said,  eBay do not see the item.
