Buyer didn't send enough labels or carriage

I recently sold a collection of books from the UK to Italy but the buyer only supplied one label and the weight limit turned out to be 20kg. The books weighed 28.8kg. I contacted the buyer and said they needed to supply a second label and I would (and did) split the shipment into 2 x 14.6kg boxes. The buyer did not respond other than saying he still wanted the books. Ebay help was UTTERLY USELESS and then (bad timing) I was away on holiday for a week. On my return, I told the buyer that I would send one box to get the ball rolling within the Ebay system and they acknowledged this (an automated "we'll take it from here") and I have a receipt. The very next day, Ebay stated that they had cancelled the transaction, refunded the buyer and today they say they are taking £375.00 out of my bank account. So the buyer has paid no money - and has £150.00 worth of my goods. Ebay comms are beyond awful and now I'm stuck as to how to sort this out/get my goods back.

You should have cancelled the whole thing and started again with correct postage.    Anyway, you can contact ebay by requesting a callback on here:
