Buyer collected item from my place, but I'd already printed label.

Hi there,

I wonder if anyone can help or guide me, since talking to a real human agent on Ebay is clearly next to impossible. 

Last week I sold three different bundles of vinyl records. I printed their correspondent labels to take them to the post office the following day, but, right after, the seller messaged me to tell me that, since we both live in the same city, it'd make sense if he just collected them in person at my place.

I agreed and the next day he did so after paying on Ebay for the three items. He left positive feedback on each transaction,but now I cannot get the funds because Ebay is still expecting me to send them by post.

I have tried for hours each day to figure out what to do. There's no apparent tool or option on Ebay to solve my case or, at least, state that the items have already been paid for and collected. A total stalemate!

Anyone in the community knows how to proceed next or how to solve this mess?

I'd fully appreciate your time and aid.

Your funds should be released within 14 days.

As you didn't have those listings set up with collection also as an option, your buyer couldn't select that so couldn't get a collection code which they would have given you when they came to collect, proving that they'd done so.

When you have a track record as a seller, money is released within 24 hours, I frequently get it same day, before I have even posted.

What you should be aware of is giving to buyer gives you no proof of delivery and while it is unlikely buyer could open a not received case and get a refund.

This can happen when buyer knows how things work and deliberately sets out to scam the seller.

Thanks for your reply, but I obviously know the buyer. He's come by my house before and collected the items sold.

Thanks for your reply. That very morning he already paid and collect some items I was selling, too.

I had already sold amd sent by post another item for him, but at the time I sold the next three, and once I'd already printed the label, then he realised we lived in the same city, and so we both agreed with a collection in person.

We came to my place, then, collected the three items sold, and left positive feedback because he trusted me. But again, it still shown as awaiting delivery in Ebay.
