Business Selling Limits

I have sold clothes on eBay (UK) for a few years, I have recently opened a basic shop and have a question about selling limits. The websites says I have 250 free listings a month but customer services have told me it’s 250 items in total so if I only sell 50 items in a month I can only list 50 new items free the following month. Is this correct?

Re: Business Selling Limits

The basic shop subscription gives you 250 fixed price listings a month, anything over this is charged at 10p+VAT per listing

You also have 100 x 7day auctions you can list with the subscription

Listing fees and any upgrade fees will apply each month for Good Til Cancelled listings and every time you relist an item.

Re: Business Selling Limits

Is this 250 every month or 250 total limit? So for example if I sell 50 items in February can I only add 50 new items free in March?

Re: Business Selling Limits

Yes, because the 200 that haven't sold yet count towards your 250 when they renew after the first month. Then the same the next month and the next. Anything over 250 total of new listings plus renewals gets charged each month.
